Thank God for @RonPaul uploaded image

Happy 90th birthday, Dr. Paul!  It was a pleasure to attend your celebration.  I wish I could have stayed to hear you speak, but I had business at home to attend. I hope you understand.  At the BBQ, I was taken back to 2012 when you were running for President. It brings joy to my heart to know there are so many great people in the World.  We live in a time where evil is magnified and candles are snuffed out or covered. Thanks for letting your light shine!

Some of the seeds you planted fell in the wilderness on fertile ground along your narrow path. Although you haven't got to see them grow, they have flourished, and the fruit is ripe.  I am reminded about the book "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson.  For example, exercise doesn't produce immediate visible results.  It takes dedication and consistency over a period of time to observe measureable transformation.  This is also true of the Liberty Movement.

Things have gotten better.  Yes, as Justin Amash testified, there is still an uphill battle in Congress. The Blob still controls the Swamp. However, DC is not the whole. More people know today about the evil than at any time in recent memory, and it's getting harder to hide iniquity day-by-day.  Lao Tzu said, "A knowledgeable population is hard to govern." That's how we'll win.  By spreading knowledge, tyranny will be defeated.

Everything happens for a reason, Dr. Paul, both successes and failures.  The founder of IBM, Thomas J. Watson, once said, "The formula for success is quite simple: Double your rate of failure." Dr. Paul, your purpose was never to pass more legislation. You're purpose, through your enduring willingness to shine light on the truth (even under intense pressure), has been to set so many brush fires of liberty that they can't possibly be put out. Dr. Paul, you are a resounding success.

As I sat with a table of complete strangers yesterday at your 90th birthday celebration, we all shared common ground - You.  It's inspiring.  No one remembers the policies of Emperor Tiberius, but everyone remembers Jesus.  It doesn't take vast wealth or political power to foster change. It takes consistent, positive action applied over time.  That's how mountains are moved - one rock at a time. I love you Dr. Paul, and may God continue to bless you and yours. Godspeed.

I'm thankful for Ron Paul. He was, and still is, right. Unfortunately, I don't think politics will fix the US. It's gone too far. However, there is hope for individuals. Even if the US ultimately fails, and judging by its trajectory it probably will, there will still be people here, and it's up to us to make the best of the future starting now.
