Want the World to change but don't know where to start?  Some problems we face as humans occur at such a large scale that they're daunting to even consider.  That's okay.  The first step to making progress is to not get overwhelmed.  How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time.  Simply put, that's how to change the World.

You're the first bite.  The most valuable thing, and sometimes the only thing, under your control is you.  Don't underestimate your ability to influence others when you have your own house in order.  Ultimately, hypocrites fail.  There's the old saying, "practice what you preach."  Have you taken your own advice?  This is an important question.  Next time you give advice to someone else, ask yourself, "does this advice apply to me?"  Get in the habit of asking yourself this.

Take action.  Don't wait for the conditions to be just right for you to act.  This is likely the most worthless excuse ever.  "When I get ______, I'll do _______."  "When _______ lines up, I can make _______ work."  Fill in the blanks and throw the conditional "when" garbage in the dumpster of trash thoughts.  Instead say, "I'll do _______" or "I can make _______ work."  Don't put conditions on your success.  Even if you concocted a brilliant plan, it likely won't happen that way.

"No plan survives first contact with the enemy." ~ Helmuth von Moltke the Elder ~

Get started.  Make adjustments as you go.  Measure what is and isn't working.  Execute.  Chisel yourself into an expert at adaptation.  Embrace failures as opportunities to learn.  Overcome difficulties.  Maintain a positive trajectory.  Celebrate small successes.  Smile when your head gets thumped.  Take notes from successful people.  Don't take negative people seriously.  Believe in yourself.  Endure.  Succeed.

Every positive successful person is one bite closer to changing the World on a large scale.  Set your sites on projects that will make your neck of woods a better place.  Start a book club where the topic is self-development.  Seek out productive people complimentary to your goals and help them succeed in exchange for helping you succeed.  Synergize.  Speak positively and decisively about your destination.  Say, "I will ..." and believe it.

You cannot be stopped.  You are a steamroller smashing inefficiency and compacting a solid foundation on which to build your future.  There is nothing standing in your way that cannot be overcome.  The person you see in the mirror is capable of everything you dream to achieve.  Command yourself and act.  You do not hesitate.  You are decisive.  You make quick but measured decisions and are not deterred except by good reason.  You are the master of your destiny.

Every action has consequences.  The Butterfly Effect is real.  By reading this, the course of the future has already been changed.  A small change in trajectory results in huge differences over very long distances.  The sooner you take action, the larger the difference you can ultimately achieve.  To change the World, start now.
