There is Honor Among Thieves
You've been lied to. The common adage expounded today is, "There is no honor among thieves." That's not how the saying always went! In the 1500's, Etienne de la Boetie wrote:
"That is why there is honor among thieves (or so it is reported) in
the sharing of the booty; they are peers and comrades; if they are
not fond of one another they at least respect one another and do
not seek to lessen their strength by squabbling."

Truth be told. Thieves stick together grounded in the desire not to be caught. This World is controlled by devious people because they stick together and have learned to keep the good people divided. The saying, "people are stupid!" has been injected into society purposefully to sow doubt about everyone around you. Truthfully, humans are the most adaptable, intelligent creatures on Earth and should not be underestimated.
John Lennon said it best, "Come Together." Start believing in yourselves and each other. You are a capable individual worthy of a successful life and fulfillment. Take small steps everyday. If you want to walk a thousand miles, it must be done one step at a time, and have faith in your fellow man. The devious people that run this World are looking to divide you in any way they can: Men vs Women; Black vs White; Poor vs Rich; You vs Everyone. It's BS.
Look in the mirror at yourself and tell yourself you are worthy and capable. Every night before bed, repeat the characteristics of the person you want to become with certainty in the present tense. "I am a successful __________ that is financially independent creating value in the World and attracting earned wealth and honesty from others acting every moment with purpose." Do this for the next 90 days. Believe it, and it will happen.
Don't be fooled by naysayers and the people around you. It's not the people around you who will make you successful. It's you doing little things everyday in the right direction and the people you don't know that will make you successful. The people you already know know you as you are or were, and they extrapolate that conception into perpetuity. You know who you want to be - your best self. Work towards him or her. I believe in you.
There is no magic bullet. More often than not, lottery winners end up in dire straits and, in reality, worse off than if they had slowly worked their way to financial wealth instead of experiencing the windfall. Start walking your thousand miles now - one step at a time. Don't wait any longer. What's your next step? Godspeed.
