The best exercise regiment is the one you will stick to. Everyone is what they are right now. That's universally true. It doesn't matter how you got here. Now is always your starting point. The question to ask yourself is, "where will I go from here?" Answer the question. Then, act. You can either make excuses or progress but not both.
Chair exercises are a great way to get into the habit of exercising. Your choices are gradually (and sometimes very quickly) adding up. How many cheeseburgers does it take to have a heart attack? The incrementalism of bad decisions is treacherous. However, the incrementalism of good decisions is marvelous. How do you move a mountain? One rock at a time. Stop making excuses and start moving mountains. Procrastination is your mortal enemy. You got this.
