Pause and say, "It will work out."  Believe it because it's the truth.  There's an old saying, "Things have a way of working themselves out."  They do.  Things may not work out the way you intended or expected, but they work out.  Your power is found in your action.  Act like they will work out too.  This simple ingredient will improve your life dramatically.

By believing things will work out, you free yourself from the burdensome chains of worry and fear.  Worry and fear are time killers - completely unproductive time killers.  Have you ever heard someone say, "Things were going bad. So I worried about it, and everything started to come together"?  Nope.  How about, "Things were getting off track, but I didn't worry.  I made a plan and put it into action"?  Much better.

Believing things will work out is not an excuse for laziness.  It's true enough that even if you are lazy, things will still work out.  However, chances are that they will work out with you worse off than you were before.  You must act.  There is no substitute for action.  If life was a game, action is the joystick.  Can you win a game if you never pick up the controller?

Acting like things will work out is to stay in motion.  What's Newton's First Law?  Objects at rest tend to stay at rest, and objects in motion tend to stay in motion...  Acting, staying in motion, exercises an important muscle - decisionmaking.  Practicing decisionmaking makes you decisive.  Decisiveness is crucial to your success as an individual.

Have you ever met someone that is always on the fence?  They can't decide what to do.  Maybe they'll do this, or maybe they'll do that.  Indecisiveness is paralyzing.  It's better to be mistaken and make an incorrect decision than it is to make no decision at all.  Why?  Because that's how you learn.  Decisiveness is the means by which to extract the nectar from the flower of life.

Next time you start to worry or fear pops into your head.  Tell yourself, "it will work out."  Then, ask yourself, "what can I do about it?"  If you can't do anything, then it's something out of your control, and you should focus your attention on something else.  If you can't think of what to do, ask someone that might have good advice.  If you know what you need to do, put the plan into action.  Start maneuvering.

Observe people.  Who is miserable?  The helpless; the worrisome; the lazy; people who believe things are going badly and aren't doing things to move forward.  Who is happy?  The courageous; the bold; the decisive; people who know what they want and take action to achieve it.  Who do you want to be like?  The decision is up to you.  Believe things will work out and take action.  Sow and reap.  That's life.  Godspeed.
